Ian Barker Wins 3-Man Playoff To Secure Seniors Title
Wednesday 28th July could quite possibly be the wettest Seniors Championship in Surrey history!
34 men and their rubber dinghies hit the course to test themselves against the elements.
The onslaught was relentless, and I doff my cap to all the players who soldiered on to the 18th green.
It was an extremely close Championship this year which resulted in a 3-man playoff. Stephen Russell, Ian Barker and James Weigall all shot gross 77 which in such weather conditions is inspirational.
