The Guildford & District League was founded in 1978 and has run since then with a maximum of 16 clubs in any one season. Clubs play singles matchplay in zones, both home and away. The winners of each zone go through to Finals Day.
In 2025 the clubs taking part are Ashford Manor, Betchworth Park, Bramley, Burhill, Camberley Heath, Effingham, Farnham, Guildford, Hankley Common, Hindhead, Liphook, North Hants, Surbiton, West Byfleet, West Surrey and Windlesham.
Finals Day has the top team from each of the four zones consisting of six Juniors playing gross and handicap stroke play and the best combination of 1 gross and 4 handicap scores is calculated. The team with the highest total score is the winner.
