Kris Kim Claims U15/16 Titles

Monday 26th July saw 43 players aged under 16 take to the course at Epsom Golf Club in a bid to become this year’s County Champion.

Tough sloping fairways and extremely tricky greens created an exciting event and the scores proved just how remarkable the level of junior golf is in Surrey.

All the prize winners this year are U15's so are also entered into the U16 category. For the U15/16 Championships there is only scratch prizes.

In 3rd place with a gross 71 – Luke Rice (Addington Palace) & Brahma Patel (Farleigh). These players could not be separated on countback.so shared 3rd place.

In 2nd place with a gross 70 – Monty Holcombe (Walton Heath).

In 1st place with a gross 69 – Kris Kim (Walton Heath)

A massive congratulations to all of our winners.

I would like to take a moment to thank all of our Volunteers, these competitions simply cannot run without them. I would also like to thank all of the Parents who walked the course and guided the Players across the busy roads.

A special thanks to all of the staff at Epsom GC for making everyone feel so welcome and giving an excellent service.
