Surrey County Golf Secretary Steve McNeill to Retire After Nearly Two Decades of Service
Steve’s long-standing contribution to Surrey Golf spans nearly two decades, including ten years as a volunteer, two years as Assistant County Secretary, and the past eight years as County Secretary. His leadership and commitment have played a key role in the development of golf across the county.
Stepping into the role will be Caroline Hardy-Evans, who has been promoted from her current position as Assistant County Secretary. Caroline, who previously worked with England Golf, has been a full-time member of the Surrey team for the past seven years. She will officially begin her new position on 1st January 2026.
To ensure a smooth transition, Steve will remain with Surrey Golf until the end of March 2026 to support the handover process.
