Rookie Tour regular season comes to an end at Farnham

Many thanks to Farnham Golf Club for hosting the 12th Surrey Golf RookieTour competition of the 2025 season. As always we were made very welcome by both staff and members, and the players enjoyed the test of golf that the course presented.

The Boys Medal saw Jack Robinson take the Scratch victory with a terrific 69, four strokes clear of Yumin Do and Aurelius Lynarko, who both took 73, with Yumin taking 2nd on countback from Aurelius in 3rd place.

Louie Lorch romped home in a Nett 68 to win the Boys Medal Handicap victory, with Jack Robinson in 2nd on Nett 70 and Taeyong Hong in 3rd with a Nett 71.

Amelia Van de Mortel took victory in the Girls Stableford Scratch competition with 25 points, with Emily Tuck in 2nd place with 20 points.

With three players tied on 40 points countback was used to determine the winner of the Girls Stableford Handicap. Amelia Van de Mortel took the win, with Emily Butler in 2nd place and Emily Ainsworth in 3rd.

The Boys Stableford Scratch competition saw Leo Boniface also do the double, winning both Scratch (32 points) and Handicap (40 points) events. Charlie Reynolds took 2nd in the Scratch with 31 points, while Gary Miao was 3rd on 29 points. In the Stableford Handicap Charlie Reynolds took 2nd on countback from Benas Navickas, both players scoring 38 points.
