Seniors match versus Hertfordshire
Hertfordshire were excellent, friendly hosts and West Herts a very good venue for the match, we were made to feel very welcome.

A super debut for Ian Slater, playing in the anchor match, who pulled one ahead on the 15th then followed Jon Earl in for a birdie on the 17th, retaining his one-hole lead and thus, in Tommy Fleetwood style, securing the minimum ½ point Surrey required. He went on to win the 18th and his match resulting in a 5 – 3 victory for Surrey.
