On Tuesday 24th October, the finals of both the John Ling Trophy and the John Ling Salver took place at the fantastic New Zealand Golf Club. The golf course was in outstanding condition, and all of the players appreciated how lucky they were to get to play the finals at such an amazing Club.
The final of the John Ling Trophy was between Braeside and Cranleigh, and the final of the Salver was between Surbiton and Addington Court Veterans.
Teams were as follows:

All of the matches were played in great spirits, with the players thoroughly enjoying the golf course, despite finding it tough at times!
Once all match results were submitted, Braeside were victorious winning the John Ling Trophy and Surbiton won the John Ling Salver.
After the golf, the players enjoyed sandwiches, chips and cake in the Clubhouse, followed by the presentation.
Our thanks to the two referees on the day, Norman Jack and Nigel Coase, for giving up their time and for helping the day run so smoothly.
