Surrey U18s complete the Double
Fresh from the win at National Finals the boys fought hard with Ollie George and Fred Gannon winning vital points on the long 18th hole to add to great wins from Freddie Surgey, Leo Vorobyev, Ben Frost and James Bould.
Dan Prince & Alex Wells battled hard against tough opponents but came up just short.
Final scores were
- Surrey 5 Suffolk 3
- Surrey 4.5 Essex 3.5
It's been a great year for the squad and a great indication of the strength and depth of the group is that 3 of the players who played at National finals were not available for this match and we were able to field some very good boys in Leo, James, Ben & Fred Gannon.
The vast majority of this squad are eligible again next year at U18 so we can look forward to another successful year in 2024.
