Milford Golf Club attempt World Record
The members of Milford Golf Club made an attempt to break the Guinness World Record for the fastest round of golf on May 27.
We came up a little bit shy with a best time of 13 minutes 11 seconds against the record of 11 minutes 55 seconds.
This was a splendid achievement with over 100 persons involved.
Breaking the record, while important, was one of a number of aims we had for the day - an event to bring our members together
and to raise money for our 2023 charity, Back Up Trust, were equally important.
Here we succeeded spectacularly.
This was an event that took a lot of planning and hard work - much more than we initially envisioned.
The result was well worth the effort.
We had a very memorable day.
