Surrey Fives Final - Camberley Heath v Wimbledon Common

The final of the Surrey Fives between Wimbledon Common and Camberley Heath took place at Coombe Hill Golf Club on the 9th October 2022 with Wimbledon Common walking away victorious with a 3/2 win.

Camberley Heath - Jason Grech (C) / Jamie Newington / Manuel Velosa / Bradley Peyton / Peter Blake

My thanks to both teams for playing the game in such great spirit, it was great to witness and to be a part of the day.

Terry Casey our President very kindly acted as starter and got the players on their way. We were treated to glorious sunshine nearly all day.

After the match the players enjoyed a wonderful high tea along with the presentation.

These days couldn't happen without the support of our referees and my thanks go to Norman Jack and Bruce Wright for volunteering their time. I also extend my thanks also to Terry Casey for attending the whole day and of course to Coombe Hill Golf Club for their excellent hospitality.
