Surrey Downs GC lift John Ling Trophy
Tuesday 27th September was the final of the John Ling Trophy, hosted by Foxhills Golf Club.
The final was played between Hersham Golf Club and Surrey Downs Golf Club.
This was all that you hope for in a final, with the score tied at 2-2 everything came down to the last match. Surrey Downs finished the last match with a 3&2 victory to put their names on the trophy.
All matches were played in great spirit with players enjoying sandwiches, chips and cake after play.
