Players must be 18 years of age or over on the day of the match.

A team must consist of 2 players with a handicap index between 5.0 and 12.0 inclusive and 3 players with a handicap index between 12.1 and 18.0 inclusive. A player with a handicap index over 12.0 may play in the 5.0 to 12.0 category but must play off a handicap index of 12.0 and a player with a handicap index over 18.0 may play in the 12.1 to 18.0 category but must play off a handicap index of 18.0. If a player has represented his club in one or more of the Surrey Fives matches during the current season, and his handicap index then drops below 5.0, he is still eligible to represent his club in the Surrey Fives for the remainder of the season, but he now must play off his new handicap index. However, when playing in his first Surrey Fives match of the season, a player may not have a handicap index below 5.0.

A player may represent their club in as many of the knockouts as required but they may not represent more than one club in the same knockout or play in both A & B teams should a club enter two teams.

The competition is 18 holes match play knockout with both teams playing in strict handicap index order.  

All matches must be played to a conclusion until the overall competition result is decided.

A Club may enter 1 or 2 Teams (a separate form must be completed for each entry).

Knockout is now Active.
