U16 & U15 County Championship 2022 Round 1 Rules

To be eligible to compete in any Surrey County Championship a player must:

a. be of Amateur Status as defined by the R & A.
b. be a member of a Golf Club which is affiliated to Surrey County Golf Ltd.
c. not have taken part in a golf championship of another County affiliated to England Golf, have been coached by or represented another County affiliated to England Golf during the same calendar year.

All players must have a WHS Handicap Index on the day of the event.

In the event of a tie for the Championship, there shall be a sudden death playoff over holed decided by the Championship Committee..

Caddies are not permitted in any Junior Championship..

All ages to be taken as at 31st December 2021
a) for the Stevens Cup 15 years or under Handicap Limit 8
b) for the James Heath Trophy 14 years or under Handicap Limit 8

If the competition is over-subscribed entries will be determined by a exact handicap ballot after the closing date.

Spectators MUST remain at least 25 metres from the players and not interfere with play during the round.

Tee sheets and player notes will be sent out once the draw is made.
