KRIS KIM WINS YET ANOTHER TITLE

Kris who is a member at Walton Heath and Cuddington has had an excellent year so far and we are sure there is more to come.

So far this year Kim has:

  • Won the Fairhaven Trophy by shooting a combined score of 280 (-8) over the four rounds, winning by 6 shots
  • Represented England playing in the European Team Championships at Golf Club of Geneva in Switzerland, breaking the course record with a gross 65 and helping his team secure a a bronze medal
  • Won the McGregor Trophy following a play off against Cameron Mukherjee from Gullane Golf Club which he won on the 2nd playoff hole with a birdie
  • Part of the winning team representing England in the Home Internationals
  • And now the R&A Boys Amateur Championship.

Kris is off to France to play in the Jacques Leglise Trophy which takes place on the 25th and 26th August. First played in 1958, the Jacques Léglise Trophy is an annual match between the best 18-and-under male amateur players from Great Britain & Ireland (GB&I) and the Continent of Europe. We wish Kris and the GB&I Team all the very best.

Following on from the Jacques Leglise Trophy in France, Kris is going to play in the Junior Players Championship and hopes to make the Junior Ryder Cup.
