Surrey boys top strong field in EGU SE Group Championships.

Surrey boys Ben Taylor and Curtis Griffiths came 1st and 2nd in the SE Group championships at Moor Park last week.

Both boys shot 2 sub par rounds on the High course and the West course to beat off a strong challenge from several other England Caps.

Curtis lead in the morning,  shooting 4 under par on the Easier West course 

while Ben shot a very steady 1 under par on the longer more difficult High course, the venue for last years Carris Trophy.

In the afternoon with courses reversed Curtis matched Ben's 1 under on the High to finish 5 under for the day but Ben carded a superb 5 under par  on the High to finish 6 under and win the Trophy.

The last Surrey winner was Seve Benson who now plays on the European Tour
