at Bramley GC
Thursday August 5th
The Seniors championship took place at Bramley GC in Summer sunshine and fast-running fairways, and after 36 holes most of the competitors needed a rest on the new Bramley armchairs.
Chris Gotla (Royal Wimbledon GC), a new senior, won the trophy with scores of 71 + 73 = 144, closely followed by Ron Burgess (Hindhead GC) on 73 + 74 = 147.
Chris is now the Club Secretary of North Hants GC but has promised to continue playing for Surrey Seniors team.
