Jack Harrison, a Surrey County Team player who has just turned 19, is competing on the South African Amateur circuit to gain some experience playing with top amateurs and is able to compete throughout the winter months. He has played courses like Steenburg, Clovelly and Arabella and has shot consistent low scores throughout.
He successfully qualified in South Africa at Paarl Golf Club on Monday 11th 2010 for the SA Amateur Open championship at Pearl Valley Golf Club. Jack has been spending time over the last few months working with top European tour coach Clive Tucker and is now playing to a plus one handicap, he will be competing in Durban, Pearl Valley and East London Golf courses over the next 6 weeks.
